review: babsycola bundles

P1040281 This week I was given the opportunity to review a box from Babsycola Bundles. Each monthly box contains a number of handmade items for mothers and babies, from a range of independent brands. Our box was supplied free-of-charge but the usual monthly cost is £30, with discounts available for multiple purchases.

P1040291Amie, the owner of Babsycola Bundles, asked some questions about the twins’ age and genders, and put together a unique and tailored box. I was very excited to receive it on Monday and it arrived while a friend was here with her daughters, who helped us to open and test the items!

P1040282Firstly: the packaging. The bundle arrived wrapped nicely in yellow tissue paper, with a branded sticker. It was packaged in a box with more branded stickers, so we knew what it would be and we were excited to open it!

P1040283Here’s what was in our box: lip balm (for me), a Liberty print bib, a soft toy, a taggie blanket and a teether – all handmade. There was also a note with details of each item and who makes it, with links to their shops.

P1040284Each item is really well-made and looks very professional and we all have our favourites. Mine is the mojito-flavoured lipbalm; Lucas’s is the teether; Jake loves the taggie blanket and Aurora likes the soft toy. Lucas and his friend had great fun tickling each other with the rabbit ‘ears’ of the teether!

P1040287P1040288I was really impressed with the bundle and I think it would make a great one-off gift for a special friend or family member expecting a baby. The items were very different to usual baby gifts and it was great fun opening them up and looking at them all. It is also a great way to discover new designer-makers, and I’ll certainly be looking at the other items these designers have to offer!

Disclaimer: we were sent this bundle free-of-charge for review purposes. However, my review is objective and entirely genuine.
